Wrap-up of your discussion of The Radium Girls:
Too many girls to keep track of individually, but the ones who stood out were the K/Catherines, and also Molly, who did. not. have. syphilis. Dr. von Sochoky was a bad good guy or a good bad guy, and “Doctor” Flinn was the worst worst worst. Also the worst worst worst was James, the guy who punched his wife while she was pretty much dying in a hospital bed. Also the worst worst worst was Mr. Reed and then all the radium companies. The best? The lawyers, Berry and Grossman. The most perplexing person—the dentist who put a jawbone in a drawer, but where else would you put it?
Quote of the Discussion
“Their jaws are falling off! They’re all very dead!”
Courtesy of Dakota, here’s a great short video about radium:

This seems like overkill for making sure shoes will fit, but then again, shoes can be expensive: https://orau.org/health-physics-museum/collection/shoe-fitting-fluoroscope/index.html

Game of the Month: Elementary
One of the easier games, in my humble opinion, since you can make an element name by adding -ium to almost any word. Once again, everyone won a prize from the Grab Bag of Questionable Prizes! Here are some questions ICYMI:
This element is a noble gas that is radioactive and sounds like that actress from The Color Purple.
This element was used as a laxative in the Middle Ages and sounds like it is against cash.
My mom’s take on book club: “It was a lot of fun.”
