May ‘25 Sunday Funday Book Club Follow Up
Hello hello!
We chatted to the end and then some!
Pairings
Ghost White (because white men)
Stok Cold Brew (n/a)
Our next Sunday Funday Book Club meetup is an exciting joint venture with the comics book club! NOTE the TIME and PLACE are different. June 29 from 1 PM to 3 PM at Lithology (Farmingdale). We are reading Mortals by John Dermot Woods and Matt L.
Your side hustle read: “A Werewolf in Brooklyn” by Vijay Seshradi
Your side hustle watch: The Squid and the Whale (2005)
Wrap-up of your discussion of The Startup Wife:
We enjoyed the book and didn’t like anyone. Cyrus is a narcissist. Everyone else is a minion and knows it. Venture capital makes no sense, and money isn’t real. Also, this book was reminiscent of Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, including one of the three book covers having similar font.
Quote of the Discussion: “Worst books: The Bible, Oona Out of Order”
